Our Story

Welcome to Calmnesta! Calmnesta started out with a small team of students—people just like you and me. From the initial idea to every blanket donated, we use our passion and time to strive to make the world a better place.

The Heart of Our Work

Dignity

We believe every person deserves respect and to be treated as a valued member of society.

Awareness

We use our products as a platform to spread awareness of disability rights and inclusion.

Community

Like a nest, we aim to create a safe, supportive space where everyone contributes to the well-being of others.

Empathy

We work to deepen understanding of the struggles faced by disabled individuals and to encourage compassion in action.

Service

We dedicate our resources and efforts to making tangible improvements in the lives of disabled individuals.

Conrad, Wang

President of Danville Department

My name is Conrad, and I am a sophomore at Monte Vista High School. I joined this foundation because I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live life to the fullest, regardless of ability or circumstances. I hope to make a positive impact in my community and beyond while raising awareness for accessibility and equality. And I want to be part of something that helps create an environment where everyone feels supported, confident, and empowered. I’m excited to grow with this organization and see the impact we can create together.

Victoria Liu

Vice President of Danville Department

My name is Victoria Liu, and I am a sophomore at Monte Vista High School. I joined this foundation because I’m passionate about helping those with physical disabilities and the elderly. In my spare time, I love creating art and I believe that art has the ability to heal, inspire, and bring people together. Being part of this foundation has given me an opportunity to contribute to a more inclusive and compassionate world, and this further motivates me to continue working toward making a difference to the lives of others.

Evelyn Shi

Financial Manager of Danville Department

My name is Evelyn, and I am in my 8th grade year at Charlotte Wood Middle School. I joined this foundation because I wanted to partake in helping those who struggle with disabilities, or simply anyone who needs help. Instead of being a bystander, I believe that it is best to provide aide to those who need it and to supply them with whatever they require. I look forward to being a member of this foundation, and making a difference in this world.

Katherine Liu

Secretary of Danville Department

My name is Katherine Liu, and I am a 7th grade student at Charlotte Wood Middle School. I joined this foundation because I enjoy helping others and want to make a positive difference in my community. I am proud to spend my time helping seniors and people with disabilities. Being part of this foundation helps me learn responsibility, teamwork, and leadership, and it also teaches me the importance of community service.
